Shipping and Truck Loading
Many times the right product is picked, but gets placed on the wrong truck or is re-packed into the wrong box. Our mobile shipping module provides the tools to ensure that what gets picked gets on the right truck and is packed in the correct box.
The system provides the following functions:
- Reads any vendor's bar code.
- Enforces shipping and picking rules.
- Collects random weight data from bar codes on boxes.
- Validates actual product placed on the truck.
- Will interface with billing on your host system.
- Provides the tools to quickly build a pallet from bulk picked items.
- Validates all item information to the sales order to insure what was ordered is shipped.
- Provides for interactive error checking and correction.
- Maintains an audit trail of all lots, case weights and other required data about the product being shipped, including who checked the shipment.
- Provides performance information about truck loading.
- Provides optional shipping manifest, bill of lading, and shipping pallet labels.
- Provides an optional re-pack control that can print box labels with the contents of each box and other delivery information.
