Physical Inventory

Taking a physical inventory can be a very time consuming and costly effort.  Often the advantage of the physical is lost due to counting errors and invalid product identification.  With the IMS's wireless system the product identification problem is removed through the use of barcoding.  The counting errors are reduced with the forced re-count and auditing procedures built into the system.

The system provides the following functions:

• Generates Count Labels to be placed on each pallet or rack once the product has been counted.
• Provides for interactive validation of all counts and locations.
• Can read the labels on any product.
• Interfaces to your host inventory system.
• Provides for manual overrides for products without barcodes.
• Forced re-counts.
• Forced supervisor counts to handle re-count errors.
• Provides missing count reports.
