Cycle Counting

The easiest way to validate the accuracy of your inventory is to do routine cycle counts.  The IMS cycle count system allows you to schedule routine and on demand cycle counts of your products.  These cycle counts can then be returned to the inventory system so they can be reviewed and inventory adjustments can be made as required.

The system provides the following functions:

• Allows the warehouse manager to control when products need to be cycle counted.
• Tracks who the warehouse person was that performed the cycle count.
• Provides a picture of the inventory before the cycle count, so it can be compared to the cycle count.
• Interfaces to your host computer to generate inventory adjustments.
• Keeps a complete audit trail of all cycle counts to the slot level if desired.
• Provides slot location information of where product can be found.  (Optional)
• Provides for manual overrides for products without barcodes.
